As a member of electronic manufacturers, EZconn strictly obey the standard of EICC, prohibition on conflict mineral usage, for preserving customers’ benefit, implementing corporate social responsibility, respecting and ensuring human rights worldwide , and achieving our vision, “Green Products, Permanent Operation, Creative Benefits, and Shared Achievement.“
Conflict minerals are the ones, such as Gold(Au), Tantalum(Ta), Tungsten(W), Tin(Sn), and Cobalt(Co), originated from mining areas of armed conflict, human rights abuses, or various armed rebel groups in Democratic Republic of the Congo.
EICC(Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition) is founded by numerous popular international corporations. EICC develops and spreads the standard, Electronic Industry Code of Conduct, for related companies, Information & Communications Technology for example, and supply chains by using various tools and tactics for social responsibility.
The customer would request Ezconn to fill out the "EICC Conflict Minerals Survey Form", which includes 『Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT)』 and 『Cobalt Reporting Template (CRT)』, in order to realize whether these minerals EZconn utilizes for production are not from Conflict minerals areas.
